Pork imports: a new anti-record in January
The year 2023 was marked by record low import activity for the pork market, but January is no less surprising. The dynamics of external pork supplies were monitored by analysts of the Association of Ukrainian Pig Breeders.

Livestock market: week 42
During last Friday's trading, prices for pig vivace adjusted by 1.5-4 UAH/kg, the same as a week earlier. In particular, in the Center the purchasing prices of the majority of commodity batches fluctuated within 72-74 UAH/kg, a smaller supply of pork in the East kept the prices within 74-76 UAH/kg, in the Western regions the price range narrowed to 70-71 UAH/kg. The weighted average market mark shifted by 2.3% to 72.2 UAH/kg.

Livestock market:prices continue to 'climb'
September ends with a further rise in prices for the purchase of pigs slaughter conditions on the background of their shortage. This was stated by analysts of the Association Ukranian Pig Breeders on the results of weekly monitoring.

Imported pork "went up in price"
In July, the import frenzy eased somewhat: the flow of pork from abroad decreased by 45% compared to June - from 9 to 4.9 thousand tons respectively. Such results of foreign trade in pork were announced in the analytical department of the Association of Ukrainian Pig Breeders.
